Tech Talk ~ May 3rd from 12 to 12:30

Do you have an Android or Apple device? Looking for new ideas or tips on making the most of your device? Join us on the first Friday of the month at noon in Study Room 1 to share ideas and ask questions of other users. This is an informal, drop-in program with no required registration. Oak Lawn Public Library

Make & Take Crafts ~ May 7th at 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Learn to make a new craft that you can take home. All levels of creativity welcome; all materials provided. Doors open at 6:45pm. Please register online, by phone or in person. Limit 18. Oak Lawn Public Library

Crochet Club ~ May 14th at 2 

Adults & Teens of all skill levels are welcome. Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month in lower level meeting room C. Bring your hooks and yarn and any current project. Beginners bring an H hook and skein of yarn (any color). Visit the events calendar on www.olpl.org or visit the second floor Computer Center and ask for Patty. Know the 10 Alzheimer's Signs: Early Detection Matters~ May 15th at 6 p.m.

The Alzheimer's Association will address commonly held misconceptions about Alzheimer's. Learn why early detection matters and how to recognize the warning signs in yourself and others. Oak Lawn Public Library

Sunday with Friends Concert - Bourbon Aristocracy ~ May 19th at 2:00 p.m.

Enjoy an afternoon of authentic Kentucky bluegrass classics from artists such as Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, along with more recent bluegrass hits by Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Oak Lawn Public Library
